Mug Rugs Galore!

Hey there!  I have a flurry of mug rug activity to share with you! Mug rugs are such a fun little way to try new things or use up scraps from other projects. The ones I'm sharing with you today are from swaps and a contest I entered over at a group on Facebook (I am crossing fingers and toes as the prize is $30 for fabric!!! eek!!!) It's called the Summer Mug Rug Challenge here's the mug rugs I entered (you could enter 3, so I did!)

Used up scraps from GIL quilt and tried hand quilting

The Sew Happy Geek mug rug swap v.2.0 just finished up and I swapped with a lovely lady Angela from The Nut's Blog. Here's the mug rug she sent to me..super cute with owls! It's my iron rug ;) She also sent chocolate (mmmmm), and a cute little basket and an owl candle holder.... the swap extra's are so cool!

And the one I sent to her, a patchwork with applique flower and a few goodies....she likes it!
