The back is all picked out for all the quilts I have ready to be quilted. The Cowboy quilt has a red western print flannel with little cowboy boots all over it from Jo-Ann's. I
The next quilt has been basted and waiting since early summer time. The Rainbow Log Cabin quilt. I am itching to get my hands under this one and just have fun with FMQ. I was going to take it this weekend to the PMQG all day sew but it has been cancelled due to scheduling conflict at the host site! Blarg! Oh well, I guess I will just set it up in the craft cave and call it all day home sew. Rainbow quilt is backed with a rainbow vintage sheet. Perfect!
The last quilt has also been done the longest. The back has been pieced from all different orphans left overs and I am pretty sure I have a quilting plan of attack. It's ginormous and I know it's gonna kill me to get it done so I am still contemplating taking it to the long arm place and doing it there. In and out and it's done.
There's a few other quilts in the works that I haven't done anything with in a while, the Japanese x + blocks are still waiting to be sewn together and the sampler quilt for Grandma's Christmas gift is gonna get busted out any week now. But probably next month really.
Wow, this was really nice to get all this stuff out and into the open. I feel so nice having just a few things to focus on a work toward. This year has been my slow craft movement year!
Oh yes, I have a give away going on right now! Hop over to my Store Front Meet Up post and comment there about your sewing dreams - there's a scrappy jelly roll in it for you :)
